Research on bearing capacity of cross-type truss boom with variable cross-section of Crawler cranes

چکیده
The web crossed truss boom is one of the commonly used structures crawler cranes. However, existing calculations fail to consider limiting effect members' bending resistance on chord members, and cannot give full play load-bearing capacity structure. This paper takes top section Crawler crane as research object. single-span theoretical model established according Timoshenko's elastic stability theory. And critical load variable cross-section obtained with consideration limitation member's members. finite element method simulation compared verified. Compared a large number experiments calculations, it can be concluded that in this article are highly consistent results, verified assumptions help improve will provide certain reference engineering designers.
